How We Give Back

Every purchase, every inquiry, every wedding means the world to us and we want to help give back in a way that we hold close to our hearts.

In October 2021, my Dad was taken from us far too soon at the age of 59; four days before his 60th birthday.

What began as COVID-19 soon became ARDS, or Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which is a life-threatening disease that allows fluid to leak into the tiny air sacs (alveoli) of the lungs. This makes it difficult for oxygen to reach the bloodstream and the body becomes oxygen-deprived, leading to hardened lungs, organ failure, and brain damage.

At this time, there is no cure for ARDS. Current treatment requires the patient to be on a ventilator while the lungs heal, and severe cases may require ECMO, a high-risk therapy. Not all ARDS patients are a suitable candidate for ECMO. Unfortunately, my father was not a candidate.

For every purchase made, 2% of the profit is donated to the American Lung Association in honor of my Dad, Daniel Patrick Jordan.

Our hope is to help prevent other families from feeling the loss that we feel every day.
